This photo by Steve McCurry shows different elements in such a plain photo. With the womans eye the only thing that is being shown, it stills creates a wonderful picture. One element that is being shown is emphasis by how only her eyes are being shown, but her body is being shown also while the background is being blurred out. Another element is unity, because it's all one on how she is the only one in the photo and it comes together well. The last element could be balance, because if you cut the photo in half, you will get equal sides, because there are nothing out of the ordinary that stands out in the photo. All these elements make this photo, because without them the photo will not be a whole and there would be no beauty in it.
This silhouette has a message in the photograph. The photo shows balance, because everyone is blacked out so everyone is the same. But the man in the middle is shown to have a white shirt and a tie, which means that he is the main person in the photo. The man in the middle is to have emphasis just by his white shirt standing out. I like this picture because it the men look formal and they mean business.
Ansel Adams uses line in this photo, because he shows how your eye goes from the bottom of the picture to the top. He also uses color by the shading of trees and the reflection off the river to catch the eye of the viewer. He also uses 1- point perspective on how the Image fades in the middle towards the mountain. The bridge in the image also uses line, because it makes the viewer look left to right. He makes some of the trees Darker to pull your eye more towards the center of the picture. The things that pop Out the most are the river and the mountain in the background.
